Stop Trump’s Plan to Pillage California!
Join statewide efforts to protect our ocean & public lands
Trump has tried to auction off California lands, gut our coastal authority, and rewrite the rules so the public can barely object. Courts have already shut him down twice on parts of this plan.
Now, two federal agencies, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (NOEM), are trying to hand California’s public lands and coastline over to oil and gas companies.

Here are some important dates:
July 28 5:30pm Attend Santa Barbara Ocean Protectors Summit. RSVP here.
August 1 Submit a comment to BLM by this date. Stop Central CA oil & gas lease sales.
August 1 – 24 Go to the Land! Take photos of your favorite endangered back country or shoreline spot, then share on social media. Here’s the toolkit.
August 10 – 12 NOAA public meeting in Santa Monica. NOAA is reviewing the law that lets California say no to offshore oil. Show up to a hearing or put it in writing.

August 12 – 14 CA Coastal Commission meets in Santa Cruz.

September 26 at Noon Hands Across the Sand statewide mass mobilization to protect our coast, organized by the Sierra Club. Early in August, there will be Santa Barbara organizing meeting to plan our local event. 350SB is participating. To volunteer to help with the event, email us at 350santabarbara@gmail.com
